General Music Teacher (Grades 4-8) - Vacancy ID: 203380

The Glendale-River Hills School District is seeking a General Music Teacher to work at Glen Hills Middle School with students in Grades 4-8. The ideal candidate will be student-centered and have deep musical and teaching knowledge/skills. This teacher will work collaboratively with the rest of the music team to support programing, performances, and a continued tradition of musical excellence.

Candidates should have a desire and proven track record of nurturing students academically, socially, and emotionally in a classroom of diverse learners. Potential team members should have an unwavering commitment to growing diverse learners and be able to build classroom environments where all students assume the responsibility and ownership in their learning through setting goals, reflection, and self-assessment. 

Glendale-River Hills is a Wisconsin public school district that offers high quality education to the children of Glendale, River Hills, and Greater Milwaukee Area. Our two-school district includes Parkway Elementary (K-3rd Grade) and Glen Hills Middle School (4th-8th Grade).

The successful candidate will hold or be eligible for valid Wisconsin DPI certification:

#1515 General Music and/or  #1505 Music (Instrumental) and/or #2500 Music K-12
