Grafton High School and John Long Middle School are searching for a skilled, motivated, and student-centered Vocal Music teacher beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. This individual will be part of a collaborative team with our 6-12 instrumental music instructors. Primary teaching responsibilities at Grafton High School will include Chorale (9) and Concert Choir (10-12) in a block schedule. At John Long Middle School, the selected applicant will be responsible for grade-level choirs (6,7,8).
The following extracurricular opportunities/contracts are also available in addition to the curricular choir position: Musical Contracts (6-8 and 9-12), Vocal Jazz Director (9-12), Graftonics Acapella Director (9-12), Chamber Singers (9-12), Pops Concert (9-12) Chorale (6-8), Variety Show (6-8). The daily schedule is arranged so that the selected applicant can be at GHS and JLMS every other day.
Grafton High School is a comprehensive high school serving approximately 700 students and is part of the distinguished North Shore Conference. Qualified candidates should possess license # 1511 – Choral Music and # 1515 – General Music and must submit a letter of interest, resume, letters of recommendation, and transcripts to be considered for this position.
