BDHS is home to over 1000 students from Beaver Dam and surrounding communities.  The academic experience for our students includes over 165 different course offerings, focused into 13 different curricular teams (i.e. English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Business, Music, etc.). In conjunction with academics, BDHS currently offers over 32 co-curricular activities and 24 sponsored interscholastic athletic teams to extend learning beyond the classroom.

The BDHS basketball program competes in the Badger Conference and WIAA tournament series.  Student-athletes participating in basketball at BDHS come from a variety of different basketball experiences from first time players to club athletes.  All BDHS coaches are expected to be teachers first, incorporating the teaching and modeling of good character, self-discipline, respect, honesty, responsibility, sportsmanship, and sacrifice while striving to win and also creating a great experience for all those involved.

Candidates must be licensed to teach in Wisconsin or be eligible for CNLT certification.  Candidates must have knowledge of the technical and fundamental aspects of basketball at an advanced level and demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other coaches and administration for the benefit of an entire program. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to successfully work with and motivate student-athletes.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
