The School District of Horicon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-time Technology Director to join our team for the 2024-25 school year, beginning on or around June 17, 2024. This is a year-round benefited position. As the Technology Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all technology systems within our organization. This position requires strong technical expertise and budgeting skills.

This individual will work under the direction of the District Administrator and will oversee all technology operations for the district, provide technical and educational support and assistance to District staff and students for both instructional and administrative technology purposes. This position will devise and manage IT policies and systems, analyze end-user needs and network requirements for software and hardware, be responsible for network security and data backups, and will manage the technology long-range plan and budget. The district supports Windows, Google, and Apple platforms and their peripherals. This job demands the ability to bend, lift, crouch, kneel, and walk in order to perform essential functions. The salary for this position will depend on experience and qualifications.

Bachelor's degree preferred.  Minimum Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field required, with a minimum of three (3) years related work experience.
Experience in the K-12 instructional application of technology.
Knowledge and experience in district specific technology equipment, systems, and applications.
Must have experience with PowerSchool Student Information System.
Experience with continuous improvement methodology.
Experience with computer coding and script writing.
