CESA 4 in western Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to serve students in local public school districts in the CESA 4 region for the 2024-25 school year. This is a full-time position at 190 days per year and follows local school district calendars (approximately middle of August through early June). The work week consists of school days with occasional after-school meetings, no weekends, and no holidays with extended time off during the summer months.  CESA 4 offers competitive pay, benefits, retirement, and mileage reimbursement, and this is a chance to be a part of a wonderful team of CESA 4 therapists.

Occupational therapy is provided in the school system as a “related service” to special education. OT services enable students to access their special education program by supporting their Individual Education Program (IEP) goals. OT is responsible for evaluating, developing the care plan, and treating students aged 3-21 as defined in the IEP using direct and consult services. OT will work collaboratively with a team of educational staff, administrators, families, and other therapists to help implement a student’s special education program. School-based occupational therapy is designed to enhance the student's ability to fully access and be successful in the learning environment.
