The Unified School District of Antigo is accepting applications for an Elementary Principal serving grades 4K-3. Join a progressive school district, dedicated to excellence in education for all students.  We are seeking a transformational leader  who will demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, provide strong educational and instructional leadership, build a positive culture and climate, help each staff member in identifying and developing the unique talents and potential of all students, and has a good understanding of 21st century skills.  The successful candidate will utilize data through effective PLC's and  hold high expectations of students and staff.  The successful candidate will have experience with evidence-based instructional practices, effective feedback through Educator Effectiveness, and strong leadership practices.  A clear vision of a whole-district approach to problem solving and programmatic changes is critical.  The ideal candidate will work with teachers, and the community to promote the effective flow of communications and ensure positive relations with parents, business leaders, and community members.

Applicants should possess or be eligible for a valid Wisconsin administrative license, have strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment, the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community, the ability to use and lead the use of technology by students and staff.  In addition, the ability to be flexible, creative and collaborative when addressing issues and concerns is highly desired.  When you serve the Unified School District of Antigo you gain access to:

The Unified School District of Antigo is located in Langlade County in north central Wisconsin approximately 35 miles northeast of Wausau, Wisconsin. The school buildings in the district are: Antigo High School, Antigo Middle School, East, North, and West Elementary Schools. There is also the Clara R. McKenna Aquatic Center and the District Office.
