General Summary:

  • Templeton Middle School

  • Grades 7-8

  • 1.0 FTE

  • One position available

Position Goal: Perform secretarial/clerical duties using individual judgment and initiative; contribute to a positive climate by establishing and maintaining effective relationships with parents and staff; interact with the public in a positive and helpful manner; under the supervision of school administration provide support to school administrators in a wide range of office and school operations; coordinates and organizes office tasks and coordinates flow of communication and information; provides support by planning, organizing, supervising and participation in the school office administrative operation; such other alternatives as determined by the Board of Education.

Qualifications: Highly motivated, self-starter who is a team player and able to establish priorities, maintain strict confidentiality and work in pressure situations.  Knowledge and ability to use word processing/computer equipment; knowledge and ability to use a variety of application software (Microsoft Office & Google Workspace, Skyward, Infinite Campus or related software); thorough knowledge of business English, spelling, composition, and grammar.  Individual must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proofreading capabilities, and the ability to work with a wide variety of people in person and over the phone.  Previous experience in a school setting preferred.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and generous benefit package.
