Full Time

The School District of New Auburn seeks a committed and student centered Agricultural Science teacher and FFA advisor.  New Auburn has a long history of excellence in the diverse agricultural fields.  In 2023 our high school of 96 students sent 12 New Auburn FFA Chapter members/agriscience students to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.  Over the past decades, with the support of the community, we have built one of the strongest and most awarded FFA chapters in northern Wisconsin.  We have a dedicated greenhouse, spacious classroom, food science lab, convenient access to a 40-acre school forest, along with a very active FFA Alumni & Supporters organization.

New Auburn is open to working with non-traditional educators, or those licensed in other subject areas with a background in Agriculture for this position.

New Auburn is a village of 550 people located about 30 minutes north of Eau Claire, the district is PreK-12 and serves approximately 295 students with 40 certified staff, and 15 additional staff.   We pride ourselves in having our staff be the local experts while providing them with a voice in all decisions.  Our school district has class sizes under 20 allowing our staff to build strong relationships with students.

If you are looking for small school relationships, with large school opportunities, we are the place for you.  We work on a trimester schedule. Current class offerings within the New Auburn Agriscience Department are of a broad range including CTVC transcripted Soil Science, Environmental Science (science equivalency credit), Animal Science, Agricultural Leadership , Wildlife Ecology, Green Energies and Conservation & Forestry to name a few. Additionally, we have a newly established Agricultural Advisory Committee supportive of the program.
