Job Description: The School District of Baraboo is seeking applicants for a Special Education Assistant position position beginning immediately. The regular schedule will be 35.5 hours per week with benefits.

Qualifications: This position will require the individual to work with students who are identified with disabilities. The requirements for this position include: able to work with students who may have emotional, learning and multiple handicaps, ability to connect and communicate with students and families, and ability to lift at least 30 pounds. In addition, the selected candidates must have, or must be able to obtain prior to their first day, a Special Education Program Aide license. To be highly qualified, the applicant must have completed a 2-year degree, 48 hours of coursework or be able to pass the ACT WorkKeys assessment.
