Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs? Northland Pines High School is seeking a dedicated individual to join our passionate team in the 2024-2025 school year as a full-time Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher.

Position Overview:

As a member of our professional learning community, you will play a vital role in supporting student progress toward grade-level academic standards and functional expectations. Responsibilities include co-teaching English Language Arts I and II or Math (college preparatory math (CPM) experience preferred). Professional development in co-teaching and CPM will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with general and special education staff to implement effective instructional strategies

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

• Support students in accessing the general education curriculum

• Utilize data to inform instructional planning and monitor student progress

• Foster a positive and inclusive school environment

Preferred: 

• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Commitment to ongoing professional development
