Job Type/Schedule: Temporary, Part-time, 4 days/week M-Th, June 17th-August 1st, 2024 (8am-1pm)

No Summer School during the week of July 1st-5th

Prep Time (2 hours/week, 30 min/day)

 

Compensation: $25/hour, $137.50/day, $3,300 total compensation (24 days). Compensation will be divided into 2 payments.

 

Reports To: Summer School Site Coordinator 


License: Qualified candidates must have a Wisconsin DPI-issued license valid for SPED teaching at the elementary level

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the summer school curriculum and West Allis West Milwaukee School District’s academic standards

  • Provide instruction to students in a classroom setting

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement

  • Assess student learning through a variety of methods and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians

  • Collaborate with colleagues and the Summer School Site Coordinator to address student needs and modify instruction as necessary

  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior

  • Adhere to school and district policies and procedures
