Position Details
Job Type/Schedule: Temporary, Part-time, 4 days/week M-Th, June 17th-August 1st, 2024 (8am-1pm)
No Summer School during the week of July 1st-5th
Prep Time (2 hours/week, 30 min/day)
Compensation: $25/hour, $137.50/day, $3,300 total compensation (24 days). Compensation will be divided into 2 payments.
Reports To: Summer School Site Coordinator
License: Qualified candidates must have a Wisconsin DPI-issued license valid for SPED teaching at the elementary level
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the summer school curriculum and West Allis West Milwaukee School District’s academic standards

Provide instruction to students in a classroom setting

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement

Assess student learning through a variety of methods and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians

Collaborate with colleagues and the Summer School Site Coordinator to address student needs and modify instruction as necessary

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior

Adhere to school and district policies and procedures
