Oconto Unified School District seeks a passionate and dedicated High School Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This position will begin with the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will actively engage students in the learning process in Spanish classes. Candidates should have strong communication skills and be able to differentiate instruction within the classroom. Should be able to plan and prepare creative learning units.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and culturally relevant lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards and objectives.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching effectiveness and stay abreast of current trends and best practices in language education.
Qualifications:
  • WI DPI license in Spanish
  • Master's degree preferred but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures
