The School District of New Lisbon seeks a full-time Response to Intervention (RtI) Coordinator. Candidates for this position will have a firm understanding of multi-level systems of support. The RtI Coordinator works closely with regular education teachers, paraprofessionals, and intervention staff to coordinate universal screening, analyze data, implement student interventions, and monitor student progress. Candidates will be positive and proactive team-members with an understanding of individual student needs, a strength in data-based decision-making, and the ability to coordinate and collaborate with all regular education staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Coordinates and implements universal screening program for all students Kindergarten through 6th grade.

2. Analyzes data to determine intervention groupings in coordination with the RtI Team.

3. Implements Tier 2 or 3 interventions with selected students using direct instruction.

4. Monitors student progress according to the intervention schedule to determine intervention success.

5. Leads RtI team meetings including agendas and minutes.

6. Participates in professional development activities.

7. Collaborates with district staff, colleagues, and parents.


Candidate will have an active teaching license or ability to obtain license. Elementary teaching experience and/or Reading 316 license preferred, but not required. 

District Description: The School District of New Lisbon is an Early Childhood - Grade 12 district located all in one building, with a total population of 575 students. The District employs 100 dedicated and talented professional staff members. The district staff work in a positive and collaborative environment using the PLC model.
