Position Details
Qualifications:
· Possess those characteristics which will promote success in fulfilling the job goals.
· High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
· Two years of higher education.
· An associate degree; or completion of a formal state or local assessment.
· Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
· Ability to handle multiple projects (be flexible) and prioritize tasks simultaneously in an organized and timely manner.
· Strong computer, telephone and organizational skills.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to ensure and preserve confidential information pertaining to position.
· Ability to be positive and professional at all times.
· Ability to relate and work well with students, parents, staff and community members.
· CPR/First Aid certified (preferred).
· Type the correspondence, reports, and documents for Instructional Services and Technology Division.
· Obtain, gather, and organize pertinent data as needed, and puts it into usable form.
· Order, inventory, and maintain supplies as needed.
· Perform any bookkeeping tasks associated with the specific position.
· Maintain a schedule of appointments and makes arrangements for meetings, conferences and interviews.
· Duplicate, photocopy, and print school system forms and reports.
· Issue timely announcements of upcoming events, deadlines and the like.
· Maintain records required by policy, regulation, law or good faith.
· Operate office machines which include a computer with Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access).
· Maintain a professional library for the District.
· Type merge letters, forms, and large documents.
· Create charts and graphs and creates databases.
· Perform financial duties pertaining to purchasing and occasional sales.
· Coordinate technology work orders and screens and directs calls for the technology division.
· Compile state reports for Director of Learning & Assessment.
· Handle other duties as assigned or required.

Reports To: Executive Director of Instructional Services
Terms of Employment: This is a 12-month, 8 hour per day, 40 hours per week position. Starting wage is $20.98 per hour. Benefits and Employment Terms per the Employee Handbook.
