Wheatland J1 School District is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Middle School Math position for the 2024-2025 school year. The Middle School Math Teacher will instruct children in activities designed to promote social, physical and intellectual growth needed to fulfill student’s full potential. The Teacher is responsible for developing curriculum to prepare lessons and other instructional material for all student abilities. A 6-12 Math certification or dual certification in Special Education is a plus. 

A few responsibilities include:
* Give students appropriate feedback related to their progress in the class.
* Instruct students individually and in groups, adapting teaching methods to meet students' varying needs and interests.
* Use multiple instructional approaches to meet the needs of all students.
* Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
* Plan a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
* Use technology and other equipment and materials in an innovative way to supplement instruction.
