The Palmyra-Eagle Area School District has a part-time Special Education Paraprofessional position available starting immediately. The applicant will work 5.75 hours per school day at Eagle Elementary School . Duties will include working closely with assigned student(s) on a regular basis in an effort to provide them with the educational, physical, social, and emotional support they need to benefit fully from the district and their individual special education programming. Daily, weekly and monthly tasks may vary and shall be directed by district and building administrator(s) and professional staff.

Must be certified by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (Special Education Aide license PI 34.34 (18); Grades PreKindergarten through Grade 12 - Special Education Program Aide)
Must be 18 years of age.
Must be neat and clean and appear professional at all times.
Ability and desire to get along with people.
Ability to follow oral and written instruction.
Must have organizational skills.
Experience working with children.
