Position Details
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the core school psychologist services to 2-3 school districts within the CESA 11 region. Responsibilities include, but not limited to assessment, consultation, intervention, prevention, education, research, and planning. Successful candidate will be responsible for the clinical evaluation portion of new referrals for potential special education services and for re-evaluations of current special education caseloads. School Psychologist will be an active member of the IEP team; work cooperatively with the school staff and administration; possess quality communication skills; and be an integral member of the special education team.
Qualifications:

School Psychologist (62) Licensure through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction

Possess a valid driver’s license

Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information in a group setting

Ability to apply in-depth knowledge of special education record-keeping, principles, practices, and procedures

Ability to apply in-depth knowledge of current technology

Ability to establish effective working relationships with subordinates, other staff, other agencies, and the public
-
Ability to analyze complicated special education needs & situations and provide sound advice and recommendations

Knowledge of assessments and evaluations of students ages birth through 21

Possess and demonstrate positive interpersonal communication skills

Maintain confidentiality regarding internal matters of the Agency and comply with legal confidentiality requirements
