The School District of Cedarburg seeks a visionary Director of Business Services, ready to hit the ground running on July 1, 2024.  The Cedarburg Director of Business Services is responsible for the fiscal and operational functions of the District, including overseeing insurance programs, budget development, facilities, transportation, food service, purchasing and other duties typically associated with a public K-12 school district business office.
 
Applicants must possess, or be eligible to attain, the Wisconsin School Business Administrator license (5008) and have at least three years of experience as a School Business Manager.  Comparable experience in a related field may be considered.  Candidates must possess an in-depth knowledge of Wisconsin school funding laws as well as the fiscal operations of a school district, including, but not limited to:
-budget management, 
-accounting,
-contracts and leases, 
-inventory control, 
-post-employment benefits, and 
-risk-management.  
 
The Cedarburg School District annual budget is approximately $32,000,000.  Skyward Financial Software is utilized.  The District consists of outstanding facilities, including one high school, one middle school and three elementary schools.  The Cedarburg High School grounds include a Performing Arts Center, Fitness Center, fieldhouse and pool.  Student enrollment is approximately 3,000.  There are roughly 213 certified educators, 17 administrators and 140 support staff.  Numerous educational initiatives contribute to the District’s status as the premier District in the state.  The Cedarburg community is incredibly supportive and takes great pride in the accomplishments and achievements of the District’s students and staff.
