Full Time
The School District of Hillsboro is accepting applications for one full-time and one part-time paraprofessional for the middle school special education department. Duties will include assisting the teachers or other certified personnel working with students with special education needs in a special education classroom, regular education settings, and/or small group settings and supervising of students.
Applicants are required to have completed two years of study at an institution of higher education, an associate’s degree (or higher), or high school graduation and knowledge of and the ability to assist in the instruction of reading, writing and mathematics; successful work experience in dealing with middle/high school-aged students; ability to use computer programs; and certification (or certifiable) by DPI as a Special Education Program Aide.
