The Kewaskum School District is searching for an athletic trainer to coordinate and organize the daily athletic trainer functions with the athletic director and coaches at the high school. The ideal candidate will also meet the school’s professional, clinical, technical, communication and documentation requirements and standards, complete all reporting requirements to the district, review student physicals and releases to ensure authenticity, and make decisions based on established National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) guidelines. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to): - serve as the liaison between physicians, coaches, athletes and parents - provide care to injured student-athletes in accordance with NATA and Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) professional practice guidelines - maintain adequate and accurate medical quality records on all injuries and rehabilitation procedures - provide coaches and athletic director with a list of athletes medically eligible to compete under district and state rules and regulations - coordinate with the athletic director to provide athletic training services and coverage for the athletic training room, non-game day practices and all required athletic contests - work with the Athletic Director in maintaining all athletic training supplies and equipment, assisting with re-orders when necessary - maintain consistent and on-time attendance required for the supervision and instruction of student-athletes - perform other related duties as assigned.
