Hot lunch provided for substitutes working greater than 5 hours a day.
Special education assistants substitutes are required to hold or obtain a Special Education Program License (https://dpi.wi.gov/licensing/apply-educator-license/special-ed-aide). It is essential that the substitute maintain strict confidentiality in regard to school related information. Working in special education can be physical with exertions over 20 pounds of force. This job requires a combination of sitting (including on the floor), standing, bending with a significant need to move quickly about the building and campus. Verbal and auditory communications are frequently involved.
