The Pepin Area School District is seeking an enthusiastic, visionary educational leader committed to supporting the continuous improvement of learning opportunities for all students. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a sound understanding of school finance, and a genuine desire to be a visible, engaged member of the Pepin school district and its surrounding communities. The Pepin Area School District is a 4K-12 district serving 250 students in one school building. There is one elementary school and one middle school/high school. The staff includes 2.5 administrators, 25.6 teachers, and 17 support staff. The annual operating budget exceeds $5 million. The distirct has a $2.4 million dollar fund balance and is completely debt free. The Pepin Area School District is located just seventy miles southeast of the Twin Cities, an hours drive from Eau Claire, Lacrosse and Rochester, MN in Pepin County, Wisconsin. The school district has one PreK-12 facility that is situated in the Village of Pepin. The district boundaries incorporate Stockholm and Lund residents. The Pepin Area School District has award winning academic programs that meet students at their current level and then challenge them through rigorous and exciting learning opportunities. • Pepin Area High School has previously been recognized multiple times as a top high school in Wisconsin by the U.S. News and World Report and recently by Niche.
