Job Description: The School District of Baraboo is seeking candidates for a full-time Social Studies Teacher for 7th Grade. Approximate start date is October 2, 2023. This position holds a 190-working day contract with benefits. Qualifications: Candidates should possess a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction certification in Social Studies (#1734) or Middle Level Education (#1088) with an emphasis or minor in social studies-related fields. The successful candidate will display strong leadership skills, develop and deliver relevant and high quality instruction, utilize exemplary classroom management skills, demonstrate excellent oral and written communication abilities, have experience and knowledge of best practices and strong interpersonal skills. In addition, the candidate must display strong organizational skills, have a working knowledge of the tenets of a professional learning community, and demonstrate capacity to build business-education partnerships in the community.
