STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS (SIS) MANAGER

HOURS: 40 hours/week

WORK PERIOD: 12 month-Year Round

SALARY: to be determined

The Mequon-Thiensville School District is seeking an exceptional individual to assume the position of Student Information Systems (SIS) Manager. This position is responsible for management of the district technological information systems (Infinite Campus, Google, Clever, Naviance, HMH, NGL Sync). The Mequon-Thiensville School District is a PK-12 district located along the coast of Lake Michigan in a northern suburb of Milwaukee that serves more than 3,500 students. Position Description
STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS (SIS) MANAGER

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in computer technology or valid teaching license preferred
2. Experience in data management, statistics, and Student Information System (SIS) administration
3. Possess knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), user authentication, and data transfers
4. Understand the concept of database architecture
5. Familiarity with data transfers (data exports, SFTP)
6. Familiarity with using SQL, query building, Visual Studio, Visual Code, and Powershell
7. Knowledge of technology application: electronic grading systems, student information systems, database administration, and advance excel skills
8. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license/car to provide services to all Mequon-Thiensville schools

Reports To:
Executive Director of Educational Services

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage student information system (SIS) (Infinite Campus)
- Implement and support enhancements to the SIS
- Maintain and support district’s Online Registration configuration and process to meet district and state requirements
- Provide second level support to teachers and administrative assistants in SIS
- Provide training and support for teachers and administrative assistants regarding SIS
- Manage and support learning management (LMS) and other learning systems (e.g. Canvas)
- Manage and support information systems and integrations (Google, Clever, Naviance, HMH, NGL Sync)
- Support data collection and reporting for state and federal requirements
- Database management (set up and manage student accounts for textbooks and online programs/subscriptions)
- Identify technology direction and establish priorities for the allocation of resources
- Assist in gathering data for high-level report request
- Perform other duties as directed

Terms of Employment:
• Twelve month year
• Salary to be established by the Board of Education

Evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Executive Director of Educational Services in accordance with provisions of the School Board’s policy on evaluation
