The Green Bay School District is searching for candidates to become an essential member of the extended learning team that supports the after school programs for the district in collaboration with other district office departments. The After School Site Director Coordinator provides leadership, coaching and mentoring for school-based site directors and community partners for curriculum planning and the development of engaging project based programming for after school that complements school day learning. This position will be working on a daily basis with schools and site directors on the continued growth of extended learning programming.
Qualifications Required:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Two (2) or more years of successful work experience in a leadership role with a background in education, counseling, social work, or related field
Qualifications Desired:
Education: Master’s Degree
Experience: Significant successful experience working with curriculum development, community resources, and partners
Reports to: Director of Teaching and Learning Programs
Terms of Employment: 11-month position with salary and benefits determined by the Board of Education; follows the Green Bay Public School District Employee Handbook

Provides leadership, coaching and mentoring for school-based district site directors and community partners
Facilitates the development of programming collaboratively with site directors that utilizes best practices of project based and service learning that complements school day learning
Collaborates with site directors, principals, and school leadership teams on continuous improvement plans for extended learning
Collaborates with the Director of Teaching and Learning Programs to assist in the select of community-based organizations
Collaborates with the Director of Teaching and Learning Programs to implement a yearly program effectiveness/evaluation plan for the after school programs.
In collaboration with the Teaching and Learning department, supports the resource selection process in the After School Programs. These resources are value added to the District adopted universal curriculum framework
Supports the recruitment and hiring of site directors in partnership with school principals and community-based organizations
Supports the implementation of a comprehensive professional learning plan for all site directors and program staff, community partners and District departments
Supports the supervision and evaluation of the site directors and program support staff in collaboration with Community Partners and school principals
In collaboration with the Director of Teaching and Learning Programs, develops systems and procedures for data collection and tracking of program goal attainment
Collaboratively works with site directors to recruit and hire program staff
Designs and facilitates professional learning for site directors, After School Program staff, and community partners in collaboration with various stakeholders
Engages in grant writing in conjunction with the Director of Teaching and Learning Programs
Leads, in collaboration with site directors, school staff and community partners, meaningful family engagement and parent education at a district level and at individual schools
Develops communication systems with stakeholders regarding program information
Ensures the alignment and integration of all programming consistent with goals and objectives established by the Director of Teaching and Learning Programs
Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor
