Arrowhead Union High School District is looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist to work one day per week (.2 FTE), serving area private schools for equitable funding purposes, beginning at the start of the 2023-24 school year. Here are some details of the position: GENERAL FUNCTION: Working with students who have Speech and Language Disabilities or require Speech and Language as a related services through their IEP. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Direct intervention with those who have Speech and Language Disabilities or require Speech and Language as a related services through their IEP 2. Collaboration and consultation with staff and families in regards to Speech and Language POSITION REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: Knowledge of best practices in speech and language interventions Knowledge of symptoms of a wide variety of symptoms of disabilities and how to work with those who have those symptoms Ability to form relationships with high school students in order to deliver effective interventions Thirst for continued learning about best practices and assistive technology Effective in consulting with staff and families in regards to speech and language skills Ability to effectively schedule students into intervention time EQUIPMENT/TOOLS OPERATED: Gmail tools EDIS data management software Skyward Student Management System Assistive technology used by students
