The Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District is seeking substitute teaching applicants for the 2023-24 school year. Interested applicants should complete the standard application and apply to this vacancy. Substitute teacher positions are flexible and can work with your schedule. Substitute teachers are able to pick the days, buildings and/or grade levels they would like to work. After submitting your application, please call Lauren Abegglen at 715-738-2660, Ext. 1901 with any questions and to confirm that your application has been received. *PLEASE NOTE: If you are not a licensed educator and would like to be a short term substitute teacher, you would need to have a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree and have completed a short substitute training program as outlined at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website (https://dpi.wi.gov/licensing/apply-educator-license/sub-permit). We also welcome individuals who meet the new requirements under Wisconsin Act 236 who meet the alternative means of obtaining a substitute teacher permit. Those individuals must be currently enrolled in a teacher prep program working towards their bachelor's degree; are at least 20 years of age; achieved junior level status; and have completed at least 15 hours of classroom observation.
