Full Time
This position will travel between two west-side Green Bay high schools - Southwest High School and West High School. Courses taught between the two buildings will include: Physical Science, Biology, and Physics.

West High School is one of four high schools in the Green Bay Public School District. Those interested in joining the West High School professional learning community must be committed to understanding their roles and responsibilities for implementing the IB approaches to learning. For West High School employees, this includes but is not limited to:
- Independently studying and actively participating in required professional learning of the MYP or DP to deeply ingrain the IB standards and practices in daily instruction, including becoming proficient in the use of the OCC (Online Curriculum Centre).
- Embracing and demonstrating progress toward complete implementation of the IB including but not limited to:
o Fundamental Concepts and IB Mission
o Learner Profile
o Areas of Interaction with special emphasis on Approaches to Learning
o Integrated content with context in all subject groups of the octagon
o Meet prescribed aims and objectives using the MYP assessment model
o Assist students in the completion of the Personal Project
- Understanding the PYP, MYP, DP continuum.
- Integrating written, assessed and taught curriculum aligned with the principles of the MYP.
- Designing MYP units of work using MYP unit planners.
- Infusing technology into areas of instruction (ex. Microsoft Office, AVER, iPad, flip video cameras, digital cameras, photo story 3, etc.), including student use of technology in product/project development.
- Analyzing data to monitor student learning and inform teaching decisions.
- Collaborating with teams to provide interventions for low progressing students and collaborating with teams.
- Actively participating in Collaborative Learning Teams, including teams with elementary and high school staff.
- Working with special education and ELL learners that are mainstreamed into the classroom.
