Positions available at Evergreen Elementary, Mountain Bay Elementary, Hatley Elementary, Riverside Elementary, Rothschild Elementary, Weston Elementary, and Greenheck Field House.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Provides guidance, safety, and care for school age students at specific schools for before/after school program as scheduled and able to work flexible hours.
• Assists in the development of curriculum, program development, and facilitation of the school age program.
• Follows the daily schedule in accordance with the program.
• Maintains positive relationships with children, parents, and other staff members.
• Answers parent concerns or makes appropriate referral to Coordinator in a positive manner.
• Participates in and assists with the planning of family events at schools occasionally.
• Attends monthly staff meetings/trainings to be in compliance with continuing education policies as scheduled by the Coordinator.
• Assists in care for early release, no school days (Vacation Fun Days), and inclement weather/snow days.
• Assists with planning and carrying out a daily program in accordance with the State of Wisconsin Licensing Regulations.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
HOURS:
This is a school year position. Hours will vary between 6:15 am – 8:30 am (Before Care) and 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm (After Care). Total hours up to 25 hours/week (5 hours/day, 5 days/week).
HOURLY WAGE:
$13-$15/hour. There are no benefits offered with this position.

WHAT IT TAKES:
• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Must possess current adult/child CPR with AED, or complete within six (6) months of hire date.
• Completion of the Introduction to the Child Care Professional (ECI) and/or Skills and Strategies for Child Care Teacher (ECII) preferred, but not required.
• Certification as a Teacher by the WI Department of Public Instruction preferred, but not required.
• Meets all State Licensing guidelines as stated in HFS46 Licensing Rules for Group Child Care Center.
• Possesses and demonstrates ability to interact with children on an on-going basis at the child’s level.
