Kewaskum High School is seeking qualified candidates for a part time (40%) art position beginning with the start of the second trimester of the 2023-24 school year.

Candidates must desire to work with a team focused on creating a rigorous and meaningful learning experience for all students. The KHS Art Department strives to prepare students for post-secondary education and careers through relevant curriculum and learning opportunities and is a place where all types of learners can excel. Our program includes a comprehensive art curriculum offering 19 different art courses involving two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums, computer-based art, AP, and CAPP courses.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Creates developmentally-appropriate, meaningful learning experiences based on approved curriculum and art standards.
- Collaboratively plans units and lessons to meet the needs of all students.
- Delivers engaging lessons using a variety of instructional strategies.
- Uses data to measure student progress, guide instruction, and provide timely feedback.
- Creates a respectful, safe, positive, student-centered learning environment.
- Acts in a professional, collaborative manner and engages in continual growth.
