The Darlington Community School District is seeking a highly dedicated school psychologist, able to function as part of our student services team while providing services to meet the individual needs of our students. The school psychologist will lead and assist in the implementation of strategies and best practices intended to promote positive school culture that is inclusive and responsive to all members of the school community. The individual will have a strong working knowledge of PBIS, RtI, mental health framework, and 504 Plans. He/She must also possess comprehensive knowledge and leadership abilities in problem-solving and intervention strategies; strength in individual and group counseling; and strong communication skills with an emphasis on working within a team structure. Knowledgeable in the IEP process of evaluation, psychological testing and interpretation of results to IEP teams is an expectation. A candidate should possess knowledge of and practice in conducting and writing Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.
