The School District of Westfield is accepting applications for a full-time Middle School Choir Director to work with students at Westfield Area Middle School. Westfield Area Middle School is located in beautiful south-central Wisconsin on Interstate 39. Westfield is approximately 40 miles south of Stevens Point and 50 miles north of Madison. We are seeking an energetic and dynamic educator to join our talented staff.

Student disciplinary issues are minimal at best and teachers receive strong support & backing from administration. This teacher is responsible for working with students in grades 6-8. The Middle School Choir Director collaborates with the High School Choir Director on curricular and performance activities. Additionally, the Middle School Choir Director helps to lead and direct middle and high school musicals.

The music department is well-equipped with all necessary instructional, technology, and performance materials. We make sure to provide the resources our teachers need in order to provide highly effective instruction. Any additional resources needed by the instructor will be obtained prior to the start of the school year. We take great pride in ensuring our teachers have exceptional conditions in which to teach.

Requirements/Qualifications: Must be certified or willing to become certified with a Choral Music Wisconsin DPI license. Must possess knowledge of current educational methodology and practices. Ideal candidates are energetic, creative and highly skilled at developing positive relationships with colleagues & students.
