The School District of Shell Lake is currently looking for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Business Education teacher at the grade 7-12 level for the 2023-24 school year. Shell Lake is a Pk-12 district serving approximately 625 students under one roof. We are located in Washburn County, 80 miles north of Eau Claire, WI and 80 miles south of Duluth, MN. The district is looking for a candidate who enjoys working collaboratively, has a growth mind set, and is passionate about student learning. The position will include working within our CTE department to help coordinate youth apprenticeship opportunities for students. This position involves teaching a variety of business education courses. Required licenses: 1250 (Business Education) and 1285 (Marketing). The district is open to emergency licensing of candidates with educational backgrounds and real life experiences that would benefit our students. We are open to ideas for new courses to be taught based on experience and expertise of the chosen candidate. Experience with Information Technology and/or programming is a plus. The opportunity to coach or advise co-curricular and extracurricular activities is also available.
