Part Time
The majority of a day's duties include preparing food for meal services. Other parts of the work day include: cleaning then sanitizing kitchen, surfaces and equipment, restocking supplies and keeping organized. Every school year several hours of paid training is required. As we provide meal service at multiple school locations, daily work location may vary depending on staffing needs. Hours per day could be adjusted to meet the needs for an ideal candidate/s. Part time staff work as few as 2 hours to as many as 7.5 hours a day; full time is 8 hrs/day. The right colleagues float our boat!

An ideal candidate will possess a genuine interest in offering the highest quality items for our students and staff. They will report to work with a can-do attitude and will appreciate the critical importance of following food safety, sanitation and adherence to rules governing school meal programs. They will have an accurate attention to detail, good personal hygiene and the ability to complete food preparation tasks within a specified period. Physically the job position requires the ability to lift or shift at least 20#, move supplies around (prepped food from one location to another) as well as work at a stationary table (prepping food) for a duration of time. High school graduate/GED equivalent. Our ideal colleague will be flexible, easy to talk with and work alongside.
