Jefferson Middle School is looking for a dynamic educator who has a passion for students and a belief that ALL students can learn. We are seeking a teammate who is student-centered and committed to the district’s high standards for academic and social-emotional development for ALL students. Applicants who have a demonstrated ability to build relationships with students grade 6-8 and can implement strengths-based, proactive, positive behavioral and academic interventions and supports are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and will work collaboratively with our staff. We offer a continuum of services to students and families, with an emphasis on inclusive practices. Experience in obtaining reading, math, and social-emotional baseline data, and providing appropriate specialized instruction and supports is desired. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of IEP expectations and procedures and an ability to meet all timelines.
