Must be able to establish a positive contact with students, working with behavior modification techniques to aid students in managing their own behavior. Must be willing to work with conflict resolution and mediation to help students resolve issues.
The purpose of this job is to assist the Principal and Staff with students who have been identified as needing behavioral or academic interventions in order to become college, career and community ready. Duties and responsibilities include working as a part of a team to implement the Behavior Education Plan, providing a wide variety of intervention services, developing behavior support plans, monitoring student behavior data and other indicators to inform system improvements, maintaining appropriate student records, etc.
Licensing :
Three Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching licenses, or willingness to pursue all three licenses, in Regular Education, Bilingual Education, and ESL. Your Wisconsin teaching license(s) must be active, or issued prior to the start of your contract.
