                        KTEC High School is a new public charter school that opened its doors to students on September 6, 2022. KTEC HS is looking for strong, forward-thinking individuals to build the foundation of the school.
Students at KTEC HS will earn certifications that align with competencies identified by industry. This model prepares students for post-secondary education as was as being workforce ready.  Students will be empowered to develop a strong sense of character, understand how to function collectively within society and be career and future focused. 
The ideal candidate would possess the following competencies:

●      Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
●      Exceptional administrative and organization skills
●       Proficient knowledge of teaching strategies and methods
●      Ability to incorporate goals, competencies and objectives into lesson plans in ways that directly apply to student’s lives

●      Ability to manage diversity
This position will be for World History and US History classes with a focus industry. Training in and incorporation of NC3’s Introduction to Industry 4.0 will be required.
Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated knowledge of competency-based learning and curriculum development with an emphasis on STEM driven project-based learning.
