The Unified School District of Antigo is seeking the next member of our Antigo Middle School Social Studies Team! Responsibilities: Collaborate with colleagues, using the Professional Learning Communities framework, including special education teachers, to provide a range of academic and social-emotional support to students in inclusive classroom settings Collaborate with school improvement teams and align practice with the USDA Equity Non-Negotiables that align with the mission and vision and collective commitments of the district Communicate proactively and effectively with other teachers and administrators Develop positive relationships and engage in open reciprocal communication with families. Monitor students’ academic and behavioral progress (through data collection and analysis) to guide instructional decisions. Monitor and address IEP goals as necessary. Qualifications Strong background knowledge in Response to Intervention Utilize Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Knowledge of the workshop model using Units of Study Data-driven and research based decision-making Ability to use technology in support of learning and instruction Engage in coaching and reflection with a growth-mindset to continue to grow, learn and improve practice Antigo is located in Wisconsin's beautiful Northwoods, only 30 minutes from the pristine Wolf River and 45 minutes from Wausau's performing arts center.
