Custodian (Full-Time) - Second Shift - Vacancy ID: 168544

The Iola-Scandinavia School District is seeking a full time second shift custodian to clean and maintain the Middle/High School from approximately 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. or as assigned during the year. Summer/Non-School day work hours can be flexible and adjusted, if needed. This is a full time, year round position (260 days), with full benefits (paid leave time, paid holidays, vacation, health/dental/vision/WRS and other benefits). Some of the job responsibilities include heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, bathrooms, classrooms, shampooing rugs, moving furniture, washing walls and glass and removing garbage/recycling. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and up to 75 pounds on occasion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit; have full range of fine and gross motor control; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; this position is frequently requested to stoop, kneel or crawl.
