RENTAL COORDINATOR - DISTRICT WIDE JOB POSTING CLOSE DATE open until filled HOURS 40 hours/week (work schedule could include minimum weekend hours based on events) WORK PERIOD Year Round SALARY $17.81/hour (Category VI) BEGINNING DATE as soon as possible The Mequon-Thiensville School District is seeking a customer service oriented individual to apply for the open position of Rental Coordinator. Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance & Operations, this individual will provide regular communication to maximize the facility rentals throughout the district and minimize calendar conflicts. The Mequon-Thiensville School District is a PK-12 district located along the coast of Lake Michigan in a northern suburb of Milwaukee that serves more than 3,500 students. Position Description RENTAL COORDINATOR Qualifications: 1. High School Diploma/valid Wisconsin drivers license 2. Excellent customer service skills 3. Dependable and conscientious with strong work ethic 4. Strong communication skills both written and verbal 5. Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities 6. Ability to work independently 7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable Reports to: Director of Maintenance & Operations Performance Responsibilities: • Maintain regular communication directly with internal and external stakeholders in order to facilitate use of district facilities • Coordinate consistent meetings with the Recreation and Athletics Department to ensure that the facilities calendar meets the district’s priority standards and minimizes calendar conflicts • Ensure all requirements are met leading up to the event, and perform final checks the day of events as needed • Work with building facility coordinators to maximize the rental experience • Schedule activities attendants to ensure proper support for events • Oversee and work large events in order to resolve problems that may arise. • Perform audits of rentals to ensure proper use of facilities • Resolve complaints or concerns in a timely manner • Evaluate and analyze all aspects of the rental process • Prepare reports on facility use • Coordinate proper invoicing for rental services with Business Services • Promote rental opportunities in order to maximize use of facilities • Provide support to the Buildings and Grounds department related to day-to-day operations • Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Maintenance & Operations Terms of Employment: • Twelve month year • Subject to terms of the Mequon-Thiensville School District Employee Handbook • Work schedule to vary based on events Evaluation: • Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation
