Seeking a Mission-Driven Assistant Principal Primary Responsibilities: Student Performance Oversee scholars progress towards goals and collect/report on formal data related to school culture and student behavior. Provide guidance for intervention and accommodations to meet the needs of all scholars. In collaboration with the principal create and enforce school wide systems and expectations to keep scholars safe. Including a behavior and consequences system that school leadership ultimately upholds. Instructional Leadership Coach teachers as it pertains to school culture, restorative practices and classroom management. Work with teachers to constantly assess and improve student achievement results. Ensure use of effective, research-based teaching methodologies and practices. Work with teachers to improve their teaching practice through coaching, professional development, modeling, and collaborative planning. Foster culture of professionalism among teachers and staff as outlined by LUMIN Employee handbook. Ensure learning environment and classroom instruction maximizes student learning. Monitor progress of all students. Other duties as assigned by the building Principal or VP of Student Services. Hold or be eligible for a valid Wisconsin State Elementary Principal, or Secondary Principal licensure. Experience Required: Minimum of five (5) years of professional education related experience. Preferred successful school leadership experience.
