Under the direct supervision of the Technology Director, this position provides support for students and district staff. This role maintains the district’s infrastructure, hardware disposal, and a variety of technical applications throughout the district. This position collaborates with staff and administrators throughout the district. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Provide technical support to all district buildings - Manage and troubleshoot district connectivity issues - Manage front of classroom technology solutions - Monitor and manage district filtering solution - Prioritize and manage help desk tickets - Test and evaluate new technology KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: - Knowledge and full understanding of operating within a Windows environment - Knowledge and full understanding of operating within a Google environment - Ability to solve technical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists - Knowledgeable about a wide variety of devices such as (but not limited to) chromebooks, interactive whiteboards, projectors, laptops, and desktops - Excellent customer service skills on phone and in person - Patience, especially during busy times - Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies The Kewaskum School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, sex, (including gender status, change of sex or gender identity), or physical, mental, emotional, or learning disability (“Protected Classes”).
