POSITION SUMMARY: Rotate cafeteria positions of milk set up, hot food filler, computer operator, runner, and kitchen cleaning. After lunch rotation in clean-up. Position includes paid time off. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include: setting up cafeteria serving lines, replenishing food items and organizing the lines. Cashiering tasks require accuracy in computer operation. Operation of dish machine. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this class. Employees work under typical school and foodservice conditions, and the noise level is moderate with varying levels throughout the day. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations. Work in a kitchen environment approximately 5 hours per day (one day at 5.5 hrs), Monday through Friday, as per West Bend School District school calendar. Usual start time 9:45am (one day per week 9:15am). May be asked to come in early to help with prep if needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Record keeping and attention to detail experience. Computer skills. Must be able to read and write English, be able to follow oral and written direction. Must have a capacity to grasp and adjust to new and changing situations and have the ability to analyze and interpret data. Manual dexterity and ability to work under pressure. Operation of equipment including-steam tables, hot food carts, computer, freezer, and milk coolers 9. Afternoon operation of disassembly of cleaning/sanitizing of all major kitchen equipment-ovens, steamers, and steam kettle. Operation of dish machine 10. Understand serving and portioning
