School Counselor 2023-2024 School Year General Summary: • Grades K4-4 • 1.0 FTE • One position available Position Goal: To provide a comprehensive school counseling program that will facilitate the academic, career and social/emotional development of all learners. Coordination, facilitation, and interpretation of district and state assessment practices. Serve on the academic, social/emotional, and behavioral intervention team at the building level. Serve on the district academic, behavioral, and social-emotional Multi-Tiered Systems of Support committee. Implement Tier two and three interventions and behavioral supports within the PBIS framework. Review data within EduClimber and FastBridge related to academic and behavioral support and response to interventions. Consult with clinical care providers regarding generalization of medical and mental health treatment plans for the purpose of school success. Qualifications: Certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as a School Counselor (7054) and such alternatives to the qualifications as the Board of Education finds appropriate and acceptable.
