KTEC High School is a new public charter school that opened its doors to students September 6, 2022. KTEC HS is looking for strong, forward-thinking individuals to build the foundation of the school. Students at KTEC HS will earn certifications that align with competencies identified by industry. This model prepares students for post-secondary education as was as being workforce ready. Students will be empowered to develop a strong sense of character, understand how to function collectively within society and be career and future focused. This position will be for a full-time Long Term Substitute and will include World History, Social Studies and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) classes, along with additional duties. Training in and incorporation of NC3’s Introduction to Industry 4.0 will be required. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated knowledge of competency-based learning and curriculum development.
