Part Time
The School District of Rhinelander is seeking candidates for their Hodag Dome Front Desk Attendee position. The current need is 2-3 shifts per week, 5:30-9pm during the school year , will consider hiring of multiple candidates to cover identified shifts. During the summer the need will be 1-2 shifts per week, 4-8pm. The School District of Rhinelander is a progressive school district focused on student achievement for all learners. JOB GOAL
Serve as primary point of contact to greet and assist members or visitors with facility use and general inquiries, including computerized member check-in process and on-line reservation system. Perform light housekeeping duties as needed and ensure adherence to building safety protocols.
REPORTS TO
Hodag Dome Manager
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Oversee activities to ensure proper use and safety of all occupants
2. Greet and check in members/guests in an efficient and courteous manner
3. Responsible to carry out facility open/close procedures during assigned shift
4. Knowledgeable about the facility design and set-up protocol; Assist with equipment set up and take down as needed
5. Serve as a resource to educate members/guests on facility features and functions
6. Address potential safety concerns including behaviors that may not align with facility use expectations
7. Appropriately direct members/guests based on their specific need or use
8. Assist with general inquiries and scheduling requests
9. Assist with facility use tracking as requested
10. Alerts the proper school authority to any potential problems with the physical plant or individual or group of individuals using the facility
11. Administers basic first aid, CPR and AED as needed. Requests assistance of others when applicable
12. Performs others related duties as assigned
The attendee will remain free of any alcohol or illegal substance, and shall not use controlled substances (other than as prescribed by a licensed medical professional) in the workplace throughout his/her employment with the District.

High School Diploma or its equivalent
Applicable secondary educate, college credits or courses will be considered
One (1) year prior customer service experience required
Proficient use of computer programs
Good organizational and communication skills
Prior experience working in a fitness center, YMCA or other related setting preferred
First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation), AED (automated external defibrillator) certified or willing to obtain within 3 months of employment
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate.
