-- High School Spanish Teacher
Description
-- This is a full-time teaching position at the high school level. Sturgeon Bay High School runs a modified-block schedule. The successful candidate will become part of a two-member team of Spanish teachers. Current course offerings include Middle School Exploratory Spanish, Spanish I (offered in middle school or high school), Spanish II, Spanish III, and Spanish 202 (UW – Green Bay course offering). The department is also active in a county-wide collaborative cohort of Spanish teachers who meet regularly to discuss programming and other activities. For many years, Sturgeon Bay Spanish teachers have attended WAFLT and benefited from professional development offered through the organization.
Qualifications
-- Candidates must hold valid DPI licensure in Spanish Education. Certification in additional areas is preferred. A masters degree in Spanish is required to teach Spanish 202.
Starting Date
-- Beginning with the 2023-24 school year
