The Baldwin-Woodville Area School District is now accepting applications for an Cross Categorical special education teacher beginning the 2023-2024 school year.
Viking Middle School is a dynamic learning environment where we utilize data-based decision making to best meet the social/emotional and academic needs of our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of students with emotional/behavioral disabilities, autism, other health impairments, as well as other learning differences. A willingness to understand how emotional/behavioral needs impact learning, differentiate instruction, be flexible, and create a warm, welcoming environment, is needed.
The ability to work in a team environment is a necessity. The candidate for this position also helps supervise several paraprofessionals.
Candidates must have or be eligible to have Wisconsin DPI certification #1801 (Cross-Categorical,) or #1830 (Emotional Behavior Disabilities). Other licenses will be considered based on experience.
