The Wausau School District is seeking an Out-of-School Enrichment Site Coordinator to work at Grant Elementary School. This position will coordinate out of school programs and parent engagement activities. The coordinator will promote partnerships between families, school, and community agencies to advance student learning, achievement, and success.
This position will work 23.75 hours per week (primarily afternoon and early evening hours) with FLEXIBLE hours.
Essential Job Functions
● Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise out of school staff, volunteers.
● Schedule meeting space and ensure staff coverage of students and coordinate daily snack for participants.
● Serve as a contact with community partners and create partnerships with outside agencies to meet student/family needs.
● Create a welcoming environment for parents and community.
● Establish and maintain communication with school staff about student needs and aspects of the out of school program.
● Enforce site policies for the operation of the out of school program, and assume responsibility for the building, staff and students in the out of school hours.
● Attend staff meetings or training relating to out of school programs as requested.
● Maintain records/reports for program administration and evaluation.
● Promote enrichment opportunities using school newsletters, web sites, school messenger and other forms of communication.

EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: History or volunteer experience in child based group setting
