This position is a year round position eligible for our full benefits package including paid time off. The selected candidate will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. The position will remain open until filled. What Your Day Will Look Like: The selected candidate will perform a variety of employee-related administrative tasks supporting the HR department in duties like posting job ads, updating the HR database and other systems, enrolling employees in benefits, and processing employee requests. This position works collaboratively with the Human Resources Coordinator to provide critical, time-sensitive guidance and support necessary to maintain the successful functioning Human Resources Team. This position is a reliable contributor to high impact projects and enhancements by gathering, organizing, entering, and synthesizing information/data; establishing efficient workplace procedures/ routines/ protocols; providing internal/external customer service, clerical, receptionist, benefit, recruitment, and technology support; and communicating efficiently with the general public and school district staff through multiple communication modes. Our Ideal Candidate: Required: Associate degree (executive assistant, office management, or business management) and a minimum of one year of progressively responsible administrative or executive assistant duties; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people. Ability to communicate in person, electronically, and over the phone. Superior ability to act with integrity and discretion. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and have a working knowledge of data privacy practices. Demonstrated superior computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google Drive programs, communication software. Demonstrated exemplary experience utilizing the following skills: problem solving; multi-tasking; customer service; organized; work ethic; high quality outcomes; and attention to detail. Demonstrated superior ability to organize and maintain steady workflow within designated time lines. Demonstrated superior ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Must meet State of Wisconsin criminal background check requirements. Preferred: Desired experience and training in the field of Human Resources. Three years of progressively responsible administrative or executive assistant duties; Demonstrated administrative assistant experience in a public education setting. Working knowledge of an applicant tracking system Prior experience maintaining websites. Willingness to attend additional formal training. Ability to read, write and speak bilingually. Physical Demands/Work Environment: Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer or related office equipment; climb, pull, push, reach, carry, write, crouch, kneel and walk and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Normal office environment and moderate noise levels. Routine interruptions to workflow.
